Our Coaches

The Marietta Comets coaching staff has over 19 years and 12 years of individual experience between our two coaches. They have both done exceptionally well in their track and field careers being able to represent their countries at the international level. Coach Nyles has represented the Bahamas, while Coach Maria is currently representing Dominica.

18 years of coaching starting as an Assistant Coach at Southern Illinois University.
Assistant coach at Rend Lake Community College. Highlights, coached 3 athletes to NJCAA All-American status.
Life University Women's Head Coach: 2017 to 2021
Developed over (30) high school state qualifiers in the Metro Atlanta Area.
Produced 15 state champions in the sprints and jumps disciplines.
2 High School All-Americans.
1 NAIA two time national champion; women's triple jump.

Mariah Toussaint

SHORT BIO:

While attending Monmouth College, a NCAA Division I college, Mariah achieved All-county, All-region, All-state in track and field outdoor season, MVP. Qualified for indoor nationals and qualified for outdoor nationals, All-conference in 200m, 400m, long jump, high jump, she earned 3rd place in both events at nationals. Mariah also is also a NAIA indoor high jump champion. She now competes for the Commonwealth of Dominica.

Mariahs speciality coaching areas include long jump, and strength training.
